We baked a birthday cake for Jesus ... Briley loved decorating it with sprinkles and Hershey kisses. We made peanut butter cookies with kisses for Santa and for family to enjoy on Christmas day. Briley loved making these, as well. I think her favorite part was a toss up between rolling the cookie dough in sugar and putting the kisses on top while the cookies were still warm. She was quite the busy lil' baker while lil' sister remained perfectly content hanging out underneath the floor gym.
After we took baths and put on our new jammies, we took a fun spin around town to see some Christmas lights. One house was even in sync with the music on a particular radio station ... fun times! After we made our way back home, we enjoyed reading about the birth of Jesus and "The Night Before Christmas" together. Then came the visions of sugar plums that danced in our heads.
