Happy Birthday, GG!

Although, today is actually GG's birthday, we started early by surprising her at dinner Sunday night. The entire family was there...and I think I'd be safe in saying everyone had a great time! It was so much fun watching GG's reaction as she realized she would be spending this upcoming weekend in New York City with Allison and Paige! We hope you have a wonderful time as you celebrate your sensational 60th birthday! We love you!

Our first day apart...

I started back to work on Monday...with a very heavy heart. It was hard saying my goodbyes, but I made sure to get enough kisses to last me through the day. Although, it still wasn't enough. It was nice knowing she was in good hands with her Nonna though. (I'm not looking foward to the daycare drop off in a couple of weeks...yesterday was bad enough!) My co-workers gave me a warm welcome back by decorating my cube. They even had bowl fulls of Briley sprinkled around my computer monitor. It was a very sweet surprise...they're such a great group to work with.

Once I FINALLY got home, I just HAD to wake her up from her nap by smothering her with more kisses. Our little sweetheart! It's hard to believe she's already 7 weeks. She's becoming more and more alert, not missing a beat and even giving us 5 hour stretches between feedings at night. We couldn't ask for a sweeter baby. (Can you tell I'm completely in love?)

Slumber party time!

Briley had her first sleep over at GiGi and Beau's Saturday night. Her cousins, Shae, Jayce and Brock, all joined in on the fun while Brett and I had a date night...Which consisted of dinner and LOTS of sleep! We found ourselves missing her and talking about her most of the night. Imagine that! We hope this is the first of many fun slumber parties she will have with her cousins through the years!
I failed to post her 5 week photo so here it is! She turned 6 weeks yesterday. She's a growin'!

4 weeks and 1 day

We were more than happy to welcome Sara back to our nursery...This time to meet our beautiful baby girl in person. Here's her slide show! Thank you, Sara...You proved once again just how amazingly talented you are. We'll cherish them forever! We love you!

I'm a big girl now...

Well, sorta! Briley went for a weight check on Friday. It had been two weeks since her last check when she weighed 5lbs 9oz. She surprised us this time weighing in at a whopping 6lbs 15oz! No more premmie clothes for this gal!
Today, we celebrated her one month old birthday. Where is the time going?
