We enjoyed a fun, family vacation in Pensacola Beach, FL the week of June 8 with the entire clan: Beau, GiGi, Aunt Paige, Uncle Jerrod (by mid-week), Brock, Aunt Allison, Uncle Allen, Shae, Jayce, Daddy, Mama and Briley! The weather was gorgeous, the beach was beautiful and the time we spent with our awesome family was priceless. We're hoping we do it again next summer!

Briley is Mama's new boss!
After a 16 month long interview, I have gladly accepted the full-time position as Briley's employee (minus my former corporate world job). This was after a lot of praying and a lot of waiting. We feel extremely blessed to be able to do this for Briley and look forward to more family time together ... and less sick days! :o) I look forward to each day ... teaching her, feeding her, reading to her, disciplining her (when needed), playing dolls with her, taking walks with her, having play dates and visiting with family and friends. I know God will continue to teach, show and prepare me for the kind of mama He has planned for me to be... and the wife/best friend for Brett. I'm honored to be all three and grateful to have been lead to a job full of endless reward and fulfillment that was made just for me.On, Friday, June 6 (my last day), my co-workers sent me out with a bang. We had an awesome country breakfast/brunch at J.R.'s Log House in Norcross where they surprised me an apron with a picture of Briley on it AND a generous gift card from an art supply store. Both gifts were so thoughtful and greatly appreciated. Mid afternoon, they surprised me again with a Laura-licious cakes! (She's the oh-so talented one who made Briley's 1st birthday cake & my 30th!) So, many wonderful people, so many funny memories and lots of friendships that I'll cherish and take with me.
Enough jibber jabber ... gotta go wash some clothes! :o)
No more daycare!
Briley's last day at daycare was Friday, May 30. She took mini cupcakes to share with all of her teachers, helpers and directors.

I finally took a picture of the poster-sized "baby Briley" her daycare has hanging up near the front desk. This was taken only a week and a half after she started ... We were so proud! :o)
Miss Huntia was one of her first teachers in the infant room and then again in the 1 year old class.
