Memorial Weekend Fun: Part 3

Monday, Memorial Day: Relaxtion all day ... Briles took it upon herself to find Daddy's hat, the same one from when she was 8 months, and wear it around the house.

We even went back to the pool for a little while!

Memorial Weekend Fun: Part 2

Saturday afternoon and night: Aunt Court and Uncle Casey came over for a fun time at the pool and some yummy grilled hamburgers!

Sunday evening: Bike riding with G.G. and Beau and a fun time eating out.
(Aunt Paige, Uncle Jerrod and Brock were there, too!) Unfortunately, no pictures, but definitely some happy memories.

Memorial Weekend Fun: Part 1

Saturday: Early morning ... (We're talking still in our p.j.'s early) ...
Bubble time!

Mid-morning ... A walk down to the lake for some mommy/daughter time.
We saw a turtle on the way.

"C'mon, they have bread!!!"

"Yep, I have bread!"

"Hey, don't forget about me!"

Duck, duck, duck ... GOOSE!

Briley and Daddy took a wagon ride down to our neighborhood lake to feed the fish ... (Hey!) ... They had a few hungry guests. (All the while, Nonna and Mama were getting mani's and pedi's! What a nice Saturday morning for all. :o)

My cup runneth over ...

Amber's 30!?

I know, I can hardly believe it myself - seems like we were just in our mid 20's and getting married. But it's true; she's really 30 and more beautiful than the day we met. We spent her 30th in St. Simons having a blast at Courtney and Casey's wedding. Nonna took Briley home with her on Sunday after pictures while Amber and I stayed an extra day to relax and celebrate her 30 years of life. We sat at Mullet Bay, talked about being in our 30's, and actually how great it is - we both know how blessed we are. We're thankful for the family and life God has given us. I'm thankful for Amber; the way she just knows how to be a great mom and wife, her unwavering faith in the Lord, her strength, her intelligence, her grace when things don't always go right, her generosity, and the love that each of us who know her feel every time we're with her. Happy Birthday, Gorgeous - I look forward to the next 30 years we get to walk together.
